The Metro Rail Transit (MRT) Line 7 has already in halfway complete, according to the Department of Transportation (DOTr), January 17. The 23-kilometer project, was funded and would be operated by conglomerate San Miguel Corp. (SMC), is 50.7% complete as of Jan. 15 this year. 2016 when the ground broke for the MRT 7 project that aimed to be completed by 2020. This will be linked in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan and North Avenue, Quezon City. The estimated travel time between two locations from two hours to 34 minutes. MRT 7 will also be connected to the massive common station projects in Quezon City, the MRT 3 and Line Rail Transit (LRT) Line 1, and eventually the Metro Manila Subway project that will be expected to complete in 2025. The P63-billion MRT 7 is ready to serve in 300,000 to 850,000 passengers a day, DOTr added.
