A town on Ilocos Norte provided a timely service called “LIsta mo, Bili ko” which started this week in which the residents provide a list of what to be bought on the market and would then be delivered right into their house.
This program from the local government unit ensures that fewer people would come into contact while being in the markets.
"ito ay para maiwasan nila ang sobrang dami ng taong lalabas sa aming barangay at ma-expose sa mararaming tao," Barangay Chairman Ryan John Pascua said.
The residents of Pinili had positive feedback on this move by the LGU as it provides assurance on their safety.
"Upang mabigyan ng protection ang mamamayan sa pagkalat ng virus, sana matularan din ito ng barangay hindi lang sa Pinili, kung 'di sa buong Ilocos Norte na din,” stated by Leah Bagarino a resident of the town.
