Because of Coronavirus (COVID-19), The Ligo Sardines (Philippines) which is a food company that is part of every kitchen household, announced that they will donate funds on March 22, 2020.
The food corporation is reallocating their entire advertising budget this year for donating it to a non-government organization, charities and independent groups that helps to aid Filipinos who are affected by COVID-19.
They pledged to deliver food supplies together with their classic products to the most affected communities and also provide health workers and other frontlines to equip them with Personal Protective Equipment and coordinate with Local Government Units to ensure the distribution.
The canned food product is composed of Sardines, Mackarel, Squid, Meatloaf, Luncheon Meat, Spiced Ham, Carne Norte, Corned beef, Snack items and many more.
