Philippines: COVID-19 death toll rises to 8

The Department of Health reported two (2) additional COVID-19 related deaths on Saturday afternoon, totaling the number of deaths by the virus to (8).

On their official Twitter account, DOH released a statement confirming 2 additional deaths.

"This includes the mortality earlier announced by Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Medical Center in San Fernando, Pampanga," reads in the post by DOH.

"DOH is currently gathering further details on the recent deaths and will provide information as soon as it is available" it added.
