Death toll reaches 14, additional 2 deaths due to Covid-19 according to the DOH

On Sunday evening, the Department of Health reported the 2 additional death due to pandemic disease COVID-19, making the total number of mortality rates in the Philippines to fourteen (14).

It was identified that the patients who passed on due to the virus were PH 129 and PH 126

Ph126 was a 76-year old Filipino male admitted at Adventist Medical Center-Manila last March 9 and confirmed positive for coronavirus last March 15.

PH 126 passed away this afternoon after experiencing Acute Respiratory Disease Syndrome (ARDS) and severe pneumonia.

On the other hand, Ph 129 is a 67-year-old Filipino male admitted at the Lung Center of the Philippines who found positive for COVID-19 last March 15.

PH 129 also passed away this afternoon after experiencing ARDS secondary to COVID-19.
