The DZMM special coverage of Taal Volcano’s eruption shared some insights during the evacuation in Batangas

Agoncillo, Batangas Mayor Daniel Delos Reyes described their situation during the night of the date of eruption.

“Patuloy pa nga po yung pagyanig at pagbuga ng ashfall at the same time pati po yung bato na po na nakikita nila at patuloy po yung pagyanig at paglindol” Mayor Daniel Delos Reyes of Agoncillo, Batangas.

He added that 20-25 thousand has already been evacuated to evacuation centers outside their city.

Talisay, Batangas Councilor Lorenz Pesigan narrates their hassles during the evacuation.

“Sa ngayon po yung ibang mga kababayan ko po ay nasa evacuation center pa naghihintay pa po ng truck dahil traffic po dun sa labas ng bayan ng Talisay papuntang Tanauan” said Lorenz Pesigan, Councilor of Talisay, Batangas.

Dennis Datu, an ABS-CBN News reporter live in the area shared his situation during the evacuation in Agoncillo, Batangas.

“Alam mo ung sitwasyon yung pinapanuod natin dati sa Pinatubo coverage?... Ganung-ganun ang sitwasyon Alvin eh” said by Dennis Datu.

He compared the Taal Volcano’s eruption to their past coverage in Mount Pinatubo that erupted in 1991.
