First City Providential College hosted an event entitled Battle of the Bands with a theme of "FCPC Pressing on Challenges of Diversity and Internationalization" in FCPC Gymnasium, March 9, 2020.

The bands who competed the said event are the following: • SMS Kids - Elementary and Junior Highschool (Mixed Level) • Nuwebe - Senior Highschool • Puhon - Senior Highschool and College (Mixed level) • Band Aid - Senior Highschool • The Replacements - Senior Highschool and College (Mixed level) • Agnes - Senior Highschool • Dosage - Senior Highschool • Untitled Misfits - Senior Highschool • AWIT - Senior Highschool • Kantaloops - Senior Highschool • Cosmostellar - Senior Highschool • Chicosocsci - Senior Highschool • Bagitos - Senior Highschool
To add excitement of said event, intermission numbers were rendered by Francheska Cabang (solo), Drive thru (Band) and Quaderno (Band).

Finally, The event ended by giving certificates of participation to all the contestants and awarding of winners by the distinguish Judges, namely Dexter Alacantara, Rod Jonathan Santiago and Dr. Leovenci Simon.
3rd runner up received (trophy, certificate and cash prize worth 1,000 pesos), 2nd runner up received (trophy, certificate and cash proze worth 1,000 pesos), 1st runner up received (trophy, certificate and 1,200 pesos) and the Champion received (trophy, certificate and cash prize worth 1,500 pesos).
