China donates 2,000 testing kits due to rising cases of COVID-19 in PH

China donated 2,000 Covid-19 testing kits to Philippines due to its rising cases this monday morning, March 16 and arrived at Manila-China Embassy. Due to the rapid increase of infection and deaths of COVID-19 in the country, the China sent their help by giving testing kits. Chinese Ambassor Huang Xilian said that there will be more medical supply and testing kit to arrive this coming days. According to Huang, the kits "have been widely used in China's battle against the epidemic and proven to be quite effective." As of March 16, there are 140 cases and 12 deaths of Covid -19 recorded in the Philippines, 142,000 infected worldwide with this the World Health Organization declared that coronavirus is now pandemic.
