Coronavirus disease rise to 462 infected cases

As of 4:00 pm this afternoon, the Department of Health confirmed 82 people tested positive in COVID- 19, 462 to sum up the total of cases in the Philippines, March 23.

According to Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire, there is one additional recovered added to the 17 recoveries, while the number of deaths jumped to 33 after 8 infected patients died to the infection disease today.

The Department of Health reported this as a steep increase in record cases of COVID-19 over 24 hours.

Still, they advised everyone to stay at home and do the safety measures to intercept a possible spread of the infectious disease.
