Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto offers a "Libreng Sakay" using the Global Electric Transport (GET) to the frontliners and health workers, as the higher authourities told to be "more creative" to find ways for transportation, March 20.
Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles emphasized that using tricycles or motorcycles is against the safety measures of social distancing last Wednesday.
This results that Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto’s lifting of the ban in using tricycles to transport healthcare workers is considered to be against the orders of authorities.
Global Electric Transport (GET) Philippines helped the city by donating two Community Managed Electric Transport (COMET) units to give free rides in Pasig for essential frontline government personnel and healthcare workers.
The COMET vehicles operates from 7 AM to 10 AM and from 5 PM to 9 PM.
