The Department of Education, leave the decision to hold of the graduation rites and moving-up to the schools, March 27, in light of class suspensions due to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). Graduation rites that was scheduled for April 3 are already cancelled, DepEd Undersecretary Annalyn Sevilla said as she reminded schools to consult parents on the matter. “Puwede po nila itong i-reschedule, puwede din po na ‘di na nila ituloy pero ito po ay kailangan ikonsulta sa mga magulang,” she said in a press briefing. Classes and activities were cancelled in all levels due to Luzon Enhanced Community Quarantin that will lasts until April 14 and will resume on April 15. In action to a month-long class suspension, DepEd transitioned to electronic learning with an online platform called "DEpEd Commons” to help students continue their lessons amid the Luzon-wide lockdown.
