A Filipino tested positive of coronavirus in the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday reported being in “stable” condition.
Philippine ambassador to the UAE Hjayceelyn Quintana stated that authorities did not mention how the Filipino acquired the virus.
According to her, the Filipino did not have any history of prior respiratory disease.
Furthermore, she said that he is being given maximum support by the health authorities and continuously getting better and more stable from time to time.
The UAE being a major international transit hub receives flights from around the world to connect from each other.
The country halted all flights from mainland China since February 5 except Beijing due to the virus outbreak.
