The highland town of Atok, Benguet, known for its popular flower farms and chilly weather will reopen and accept tourists starting on Saturday, February 22.
This tourist spot closed due to awareness against the novel coronavirus strain from China.
This weekend, the Sakura Park and Northern Blossom Flower farm will again welcome tourists who are required to pre-register with local government, Atok Mayor Raymundo Sarac said in an executive order released last Thursday.
The management of the tourism sites will provide water, soap, sanitizers and rubbing alcohol for the health safety of the customers.
