National ID ready to begin on mid-2020

The implementation of the most awaited National ID will already be on the move in mid-2020 after some pilot testings as said by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).

The initial run would happen within the NCR and move forward to nearby provinces until the whole country is covered by the service.

The said service would contain security and character references such as:

Full Name of the individual

PhilSys Unique Number

Facial Image (Photo)

Date of Birth

Sex/Gender

Blood Type

Permanent Address

This national ID or the PhilSys will make faster, more efficient and convenient way of processing transactions with the government due to its integration with various government offices.
