A new Guinness world record was set by the city of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan for the most living figures in a nativity scene last 20th of December at the Altaraza Town Center as a final rush to achieve a goal before the entrance of the year 2020.

The San Joseno's showed their unity once again as they went together to achieve another Guinness world record as a show force of what it takes to be a great city with pride and honor to uplift not only the tourism of the locality but the morality of its people and the community.

More than 2000 individuals that came from different barangays of the city joined and participated in the said activity as they unitedly tried to beat the first record holder.

At least 1200 individuals from Calne town council and the bible society of Calne, Wiltshire, United Kingdom was the first record holder of the title but is then changed now by the attempt of SJDM.

The said activity was led by the city tourism management office together with the help of

many city scholars to achieve the target number of people to be gathered on the said attempt to beat the record.

The unity, determination, love, and support of the people of San Jose made the city achieve this new historical marker as part of the previous record which is the largest lantern parade achieved in 2017 and for more future achievements of the city.
