President Duterte went to Taal for aerial inspection

President Rodrigo Duterte conducted an aerial inspection of Taal on Monday, January 13 as the volcano continues to erupt, Senator Bong Go stated.

The senator said that the flight they had from Davao to Manila was the first to gain access to land on Ninoy Aquino International Airport, in which most flight operations have been suspended for everyone’s safety.

President Duterte has already given orders to ensure the safety of everyone within the 14-kilometer radius of the high-risk area along Taal.

Most of the scheduled trips and meetings of the president were canceled to give way for this emergency situation.
