The Health Ministry said that Western Visayas logs 9 new corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases and raising 13 to the regions tally.
There are seven new patients are men and 2 women showed in the Department of Health (DOH) in Western Visayas data.
Five of them have a travel history in Metro Manila, which has become the epicenter of the COVID-19 outbreak in the Philippines.
One of the new patient is the 28-year-old son of the region's first COVID-19 case from Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.
The region has tallied 3 coronavirus cases in Aklan province, 1 in Capiz province, 3 in Iloilo province, 2 in Iloilo City, 4 in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.
DOH-Western Visayas latest data showed there were 95 patients under investigation (PUIs) currently admitted in hospitals while 11,124 out of 41,915 persons under monitoring (PUIs) had already completed the 14-day quarantine.
