Dave Ildefonso joins Ateneo Blue Eagles

Dave Ildefonso will return to Katipunan to once again be a part of the Blue Eagles.

In a tweet, Monday, Dave confirmed that he will be back at Ateneo de Manila University.

"I have made the decision to return to Ateneo to continue my basketball journey," Ildefonso stated.

The son of PBA legend Danny "Lakay" Ildefonso said that, "My biggest basketball dream has always been to represent the country in major international meets and I feel that this is the best path to that fulfillment of my dream".

However, his older brother Shaun Ildefonso will continue to play for the NU Bulldogs as per the latest reports.

The young Gilas prodigy who was part of the FIBA U-19 World Cup in Greece last year thanked his National University family as he exits the team and joins his old team in Ateneo back in high school where he would be playing once again with his old teammates such as Jason Credo and SJ Belangel.

Ildefonso will be a great addition to the team as many seniors have already graduated.
